Okay, you've heard it a hundred times, "a coupon clipper makes $20 an hour," but unless you're a crazy and organized individual buying a lot of stuff, I don't see how that works.
My advice is simple. You get the coupons in the Sunday paper. You take a quick look. You see a coupon for Dannon Yogurt. You normally buy it. Cut it out. Cut out only the coupons for items you normally buy. Don't buy something just because you have a coupon.
Just doing small things that will add up. Plus, most grocery stores accept expired coupons (most up to 5 years expired). So if you forget it on one trip, you can always bring it on the next one.
